Position: Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Remote in Mexico

Salary: 50,000-70,000 MXN per month (gross/before tax)

Interview Process: 1 round (one and done interview)

Required Skills & Experience

• 7-10+ years of experience as an SRE in the networking space

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes

• Must be able to build, optimize and modify containers within Docker

• GitHub experience

• Ansible experience

o Building Ansible templates

• Experience with Bash/Shell scripting as well as low testing

• Experience building Grafana dashboards

• GCP or Azure Cloud experience required (preference for GCP)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Golang or Python development experience

• Envoy Proxy

Job Description

A Fortune 500 employer is seeking an experienced SRE to join their infrastructure team working within a heavy API environment. The individual would be responsible for working on an internal proxy- working on OSI networking layers as well as automating the deployment and visualization of the proxy. Additionally, this individual will handle debugging, test building, and occasional customer support issues as needed.
