Role/ Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer Function/ Department: Information Technology Job Purpose: Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) department plays a pivotal role in providing seamless experience for our customers. Roles and Responsibilities Thorough understanding of SRE Principles Responsible to define SLO & SLAs with inputs from all the relevant stakeholders Implement SLI through monitoring tools along with alerting Implement proactive monitoring such that detect an issue & resolve it quickly before it becomes Major Incident Automate manual tasks & implement self-healing Participate in design, build, and on-call support of various cloud, container, and on-premises platforms through standalone and integration operations Responsible for ensuring that operational and service level agreements are established and operationally met Be able to communicate effectively and work closely together with business clients, other technology teams, support partners and stakeholders to deliver and support business aligned solutions. Develop SME capabilities for the Applications' business area and/or Retail banking domain Implement CI/CD using efficient tool chain and automate release process Technical Responsibilities: 3+ years working experience of Monitoring tools like DynaTrace, AppDynamics, Grafana etc. 2+ years experience in Python, Shell Scripting, SQL/PL SQL or other programming language 2+ years' experience of CI/CD tools like Jenkin or cloud native tools 2+ years' experience using Docker, Kubernetes and cloud environment Experience in RPA implementation or RPA tools would be a plus 4+ years' experience of applying DevOps processes 3+ years' Experience in managing and scaling distributed systems in a public or hybrid cloud environment (aws, gcp & azure) Proven track record of enhancing efficiency and effectivity through Automation and experienced in RunDeck, Ansible 3+ years experience in Design, Development or Support experience of complex systems in Banking Domain 3+ years experienced in driving continuous improvements through smart analytics Strong Analytical & Problem solving skills Education Qualifications: Graduation: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Post-Graduation: Master of Science (M.Sc) / Master of Technology (M.Tech) Experience: 5 - 10 Years
