Position: Site Quality Manager

Project: $mulit-billion infrastructure project

Location: FIFO from Sydney

Salary: $240 - $280k TFR

Responsibilities of the Site Quality Manager:

• Work closely with the site installation team to work is done safely, according to the quality standards, customer requirements, schedule and budget.
• Ensure all QA/QC inspections and testing is performed in accordance with the Quality Plan and assist all inspection as per Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), secure the relevant resources, coordinate tests performed by specialized service-providers (e.g. non-destructive examiners (NDTs)).
• Perform site audits and inspections.
• Develop and implement site quality plan in line with the contract and company policy and drive commitment to quality within site team.
• Apply strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and customer regulatory requirements.
  
  

Relevant Experience required:

• University educational background in QA/QC & Certified as per quality requirements.
• Qualifications in welding inspection , such as AWS/ASNT certifications, CSWIP or similar.
• Previous demonstrated experience in a Senior/Management-level position.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, codes, standards, and best practices. qualification in IWE preferred.
• Proven experience of working to QA/QC systems aligned with ISO:9001.
• Strong experience on Hydro Power Plant construction projects or in the oil and gas sector.
