If you enjoy making sure things work well and creating a good environment for people to do their best, this could be a great fit!

About Us

Ocado Technology is all about building cool tech for online grocery. Our Athens office is where we design and test the robots that power our warehouses. It's a busy place with labs, workshops, and a team of around 50 smart folks working on some really interesting stuff.

The Role

As our Site Operations Coordinator, you'll be the go-to person on the ground, helping our Country Head make sure the Athens site is a productive and positive place. You'll focus on the day-to-day operations, letting our finance and people teams handle their specific areas.

Key Responsibilities

Think of yourself as the person who makes sure everything just works. Here’s a simple breakdown:

Keeping the Site Running: You'll help look after our office and the more technical areas like labs and workshops, making sure they're safe and functional. You'll work with people who help us with things like maintenance.

Helping the Lab & Workshop Teams: You'll be a point of contact for our engineers, helping with things like access to equipment and making sure safety guidelines are followed.

Getting What We Need: You'll help with getting the right supplies and equipment for our labs and workshops, working with our central buying team. You might also help with getting things shipped.

Safety First: You'll be our local safety person, working with our central safety team to make sure we're all following the rules and staying safe.

General Office Stuff: You'll help with everyday office tasks like mail and welcoming visitors. You might also help with some basic legal bits and pieces.

Connecting People: You'll be a friendly point of contact for different teams and the people we work with outside the company.

Requirements

  • Some experience (around 3+ years) in keeping an office or similar place organized. Experience in a more technical or industrial setting would be a real plus.

  • You like solving problems and finding ways to make things better.
  • You have a basic understanding of how things get bought and moved around.
