Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring all activities comply with project plans and specifications
• Supervise and coordinate construction workers, subcontractors, and site staff to maintain productivity and quality standards
• Plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines to ensure completion within deadlines and budget constraints
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to communicate project progress and resolve issues
• Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Manage procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and resources for each phase of the project
• Prepare and maintain accurate site reports, quality control documentation, and project records
• Monitor project costs, review budgets, and collaborate with quantity surveyors to control expenditures
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues
• Motivate and lead the site team, fostering a positive work environment and addressing any performance concerns
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Proven experience (Minimum 5 years) in construction site supervision or management roles
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate diverse teams
• Proficient in project management, scheduling, and budgeting tools/software
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaison with stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance and control
• Relevant professional certifications in construction safety or site management are highly desirable
• Willingness to work on-site in various conditions and adapt to project demands
