Summary

Key Competencies & Main Responsibilities

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement and logical thinking.
  • Financial Control:
    • Analyze budget, forecast, and monthly results (Direct Labor, Efficiency, Overhead).
    • Explain variances and follow up on improvement plans with relevant departments.
    • Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.
    • Participate in and challenge monthly closing results.
    • Provide monthly financial analysis (P&L, activity KPIs) and weekly performance reports.
  • Operations & Cost Control:
    • Track spare part inventory and validate MRP data accuracy (SAP knowledge is a plus).
    • Ensure added value data reflects actual costs.
    • Visit production floor (Genba) to align system data with operational realities.
  • Reporting & Compliance:
    • Support budgeting and mid-term planning processes.
    • Benchmark and standardize management control tools.
    • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and site reviews.
    • Pre-validate investment requests (IAR) and cost allocation approvals (CAA).
    • Identify and alert on potential risks; support conflict resolution (e.g. transfer pricing).
    • Ensure deployment of group/division/PG/PL tools and practices.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
    • Fluent in English with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
    • Mature, proactive, and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ethics & Compliance:
    • Adhere to Valeo’s Code of Ethics and contribute to compliance initiatives.
