This is an exciting opportunity to oversee on-site activities, lead a talented team, and contribute to cutting-edge projects in the automation industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that installations are completed efficiently, on time, and according to quality standards. Your ultimate goal will be to deliver a seamless and satisfactory installation experience for our customers. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise a team of on-site employees, overseeing their time management and work hours.
Manage and coordinate all system and service activities at our customer's site to ensure on-time project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Prepare installation schedules and lead kick-off meetings.
Monitor project progress, control job costs, and maintain compliance with contract requirements.
Coordinate equipment checks, sub-assemblies, and hardware packaging.
Uphold company policies, safety standards, and ensure compliance across all operations.
Regularly travel (80-100%) to different customer locations to oversee projects.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of site management in an automation environment.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Travel: This position requires out of town and overnight travel up to 80%, this is typically for two weeks at a time, with every other weekend away from the site.
Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of automotive assembly processes and welding/automated systems.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Other Requirements:
High regard for safety standards.
Knowledge of mechanical standards, tooling assembly, and setup is a plus.
Physical ability to work on the plant floor, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds.
