Skills and Experience: Technical: * Good level of Mechanical/Hydraulic knowledge on a wide range of ROV systems * PC literate and proficient in Microsoft software applications Interpersonal: * Excellent communication/interpersonal skills * Team player * Flexible approach and positive attitude Self-Management: * Ability to organise and prioritise workload (essential) MECHANICAL/HYDRAULIC TECH OVERVIEW OF ROLE The Mechanical/Hydraulic Equipment Technician Level II role will work within a small and dedicated workshop Mechanical/Hydraulic team will perform maintenance, post job analysis, fault finding, repair & servicing on a wide range of Mechanical/Hydraulic Equipment in a safe and efficient manner. SPECIFIC KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES * Participate in the planned maintenance of ROV systems and associated equipment. * Ensures equipment is maintained and in compliance with all technical and project requirements. * Uses logical fault finding techniques during breakdown situations. * Assists in the identification and ordering of suitable spare parts to ensure they are available when required. * Interface with other workshop disciplines as and when required. * Compiles and maintains technical records, reports and logs using the workshop request system & SAP. * Provision of technical information to administration team to enable SAP equipment reports to be updated. * Maintain and promote a safe working environment within the department and the company. * Ensure Mechanical / Hydraulic Team Lead is updated on all aspects of assigned jobs. * May be required to perform any other necessary duties within their experience and capabilities.
