What To Expect
The candidate will focus on developing Post-Silicon validation plan, tools and infrastructure for Tesla’s custom SoCs and platforms for vehicles and data centers. As a Silicon and Systems Validation Engineer, the candidate will take on challenges like test plan development, functional and electrical validation of the IP in emulation and post-silicon, and perform system level power characterization/reduction. The candidate will regularly take part in hardware design and schematics review, firmware development, and building automated test infrastructures for running large volume of post silicon system level tests, and also troubleshoot complex hardware bugs and field returns. The ideal candidate will need to have a deep understanding of Silicon Architecture, with a focus on the latest generations of PCIe controller and PHY designs, and is comfortable in working on PCIe architectures involving SOCs, switches, and NIC topologies.

What You'll Bring
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent major with 5+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent experienceExperience in PCIe Gen6 bringup and validation of SOCs, switches, network, and datacenter applicationsFamiliar with design/debug of ARM or x86 System on Chip Architectures Experience in Silicon bringup and validation, and PCBA/Platform debugExperience with Statistical Data Analysis and Design of ExperimentsExperience with Electrical Testing and Protocol Analyzer equipmentFamiliar with Linux OS and Scripting

Expected Compensation
$120,000 - $264,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
