Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and implement workflows and best practices for SIPI.
• Provide architectural insights to enhance DDR IP and System designs
• Collaborate with Design teams on PHY floor-planning, die bump matrix, and package bump map definitions.
• Evaluate Package and PCB artwork designs, providing feedback to improve Signal Integrity and Power Integrity for both internal testchip designs and external customer systems
• Own Package and PCB design guidelines and reference designs for customers.
• Ability to modify PCB/Package design databases using tools such as Cadence Allegro/Orcad.
• Lead feasibility studies to guide reference design definitions.
• Develop IBIS/IBIS-AMI models.
• Collaborate with teams across Silicon Architecture, PCB, and System Integration to develop accurate simulation models.
• Support lab validation of TSS’ DDR PHY, if warranted.
• Mentor and support junior engineers to foster a culture of growth and learning.

Requirements

• +2 years of SIPI experience with at least 3 years in high-speed analog/mixed signal designs
• Minimum of Bachelor’s in Electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Strong knowledge of SIPI principles
• Experienced with SIPI tools for extraction, simulation, and analysis
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
