Tesla’s low voltage hardware group is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to contribute to cutting-edge hardware solutions, enhancing the infotainment, camera, sensors, and cable assemblies in next-generation Tesla vehicles.
What You'll Do
Develop and implement corporate signal integrity standards and guidelines, defining best practices for signal integrity design, analysis, and testingCollaborate with Electrical Engineers and Layout Engineers to ensure signal integrity is considered in the physical design of circuit boardsWork closely with other engineering teams (EMC, Harness, Test, and Thermal Engineering) to integrate signal integrity throughout the product development processUtilize programming languages to automate tasks, including simulation tools and oscilloscope instrumentationPerform signal integrity simulations to identify and resolve potential problems, conducting measurements for validation/correlationDebug signal integrity problems in prototypes and production boards
What You'll Bring
Engineering degree or 3+ years of relevant industry experienceTechnical depth and breadth in high-speed signal integrity, power integrity, and applied electromagneticsFamiliarity with measurement equipment such as VNA, Oscilloscope, SA, etc.Hands on skills in 2D/3D simulation tools (e.g., Ansys AEDT/HFSS/SIWAVE or equivalents)Familiarity with PCB design tools, such as Cadence PCB and AltiumCollaborative mindset, working with cross-functional team members from multiple disciplines to reach fact-based decisionsFamiliarity with scripting languages such as MATLAB, Perl or PythonWorking knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis is preferred

Expected Compensation
$108,000 - $240,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
