Purpose: We have an immediate need for an experienced Shopify Developer to join our growing team of freelancers and help with our increasing volume of Shopify work. Work needs vary between ongoing support, iterative site improvements, Shopify App recommendations, template development and more complex migration projects from other CMS platforms to Shopify Plus. You’ll be a strong candidate if: You have strong Shopify template, debugging and front-end skills. You write clean theme code and can add and debug JS. You know how to set up custom layout/content editors for our clients in Shopify Plus. You have hands-on experience with Shopify Plus, including at least two or more large-scale project. You’re comfortable using beanstalk plus deploybot to manage and push template code. You’re capable of providing guidance/advice and estimates for different approaches. You have strong communication skills. You excel working in a remote, telecommuting environment, meaning you’re autonomous, self-driven, responsive, transparent, and self-organized. Required Skills Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Photoshop Knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery Strong knowledge of web browsers, web servers, and web protocols Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills Able to hand code without the use of a WYSIWYG editor Able to create website from PSDs Able to develop responsive designs Make changes to existing pages/sites WordPress and Shopify knowledge Working knowledge of PHP and MySQL Familiar with email marketing platforms
