Job Summary:

We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Shopify eCommerce Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify stores, including front-end and back-end development. You will work closely with our design, marketing, and product teams to deliver seamless and optimized eCommerce experiences that align with our brand goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain custom Shopify themes and apps.
• Build responsive and user-friendly storefronts using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
• Customize and optimize Shopify checkout, cart, and product pages.
• Integrate third-party APIs and Shopify apps to enhance site functionality.
• Work with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into interactive experiences.
• Monitor site performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes promptly.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Implement A/B testing and support CRO (conversion rate optimization) initiatives.
• Stay current with the latest Shopify updates, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Shopify/Shopify Plus Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with Shopify APIs and app integrations (REST/GraphQL).
• Familiarity with tools like Git, Webpack, and version control workflows.
• Experience with headless CMS or Shopify Hydrogen (a plus).
• Understanding of SEO, web performance optimization, and accessibility best practices.
• Knowledge of eCommerce analytics, tracking tools, and conversion metrics (Google Analytics, GA4, etc.).
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with other eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, BigCommerce) is a big plus.
• Graphic design or UI/UX design skills.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
