Position open for an experienced Shipping & Receiving Manager for a high-volume menswear company. Looking for a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.

Core Responsibilities

Manage daily workflow and communication with 3PL Partners, ensuring all needs related to shipping, receiving and accurate control of inventory are met in a timely manner.

Flag late shipments and work closely with sales team to resolve issues and make sure orders do not get affected, as well and exceptional relationship with buyers to meet needs and guarantee satisfaction on handling the merchandise until arrives their DC'S.

Close communication with production for daily update on shipments status and track shipments to ensure arrival on time to 3PL provider to meet customer orders ship windows.

Exceptional relationship with third party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure the highest service level, and smooth operation alongside the Supply Chain.

Inspect factories shipping documents for accuracy with factory purchase orders and inform production shipments discrepancies.

Allocation of orders and preparation of packets for 3PL providers for EDI and Non-Edi customers providing 3PL provider updated vendors guides and vendors routing guides with all required information meeting retailer's standards and prevent charge backs.

Co-ordinate pickups with 3PL provider for domestic shipments, ensuring all shipments are processed and fulfilled on time.

Maintained weekly shipping schedules and weekly meetings with 3PL provider to review shipping needs for the week, ensuring issues are discussed and resolved preventing any late shipment.

Maintained weekly shipping status reports and related responsibilities.

Qualifications Required:

10+ years of experience preferably in Apparel and inventory control and management

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good skills in excel for reporting and inventory control
