Summary

Directs production activities for assigned shift to ensure that daily production goals and

standards are met in a safe and efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Directs completion of assigned daily tasks.
• Reports progress, needs and issues to the Production Supervisor.
• Performs tasks of Production Specialist as needed.
• Monitors adherence to safety policies and procedures
• Supervises production activities and manages employee performance.
• Ensure company programs such as ISO, HACCP and Safety are followed within the Production
  
  

Department.

• Ensures that housekeeping requirements are maintained in accordance with GMP.
• Oversees training progress of department personnel.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and in use of equipment to increase efficiency of
  
  

department or work crew.

Education/Experience

Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school, or six months to

one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and

experience.
