We Are Currently Hiring For The Following Positions

Shift Leader

As a shift leader, you will be an ambassador of the Senor Sisig brand and values. You will be interacting with our guests and leading your team to give our guests the best customer experience. You will help to ensure that our services are executed as smoothly as possible. You will report to the General Manager but will be empowered to make your own decisions that create the best overall experience for our guests.

About You

The Shift Leader is a primary role in Senor Sisig's restaurant operations. Shift Leaders direct cooks and cashiers through their daily routines and interact with customers to make sure that they have an excellent experience. Shift Leaders act as quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction through supervising employees properly and adhering to company policy.

Job Duties

  • Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
  • Manages meal and rest breaks
  • Operates POS and handles voids and comps as needed while following all company policies and procedures.
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas at the beginning and end of service.
  • Implements product rotation based on product code dates in the restaurant. Signs off on physical inventory counts for trucks prior to every service.
  • Resolves customer complaints in a manner consistent with company policy, and with customer satisfaction in mind.
  • Conducts daily stand-ups with assigned staff to ensure all staff members are motivated and understand their daily responsibilities.
  • Maintains proper flow of service by acting as the expeditor.
  • Practices excellent food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Monitors compliance with safety guidelines builds awareness about safety and reports any safety concerns to management
  • Participates in weekly management meetings to discuss goals, progress, and any issues in need of resolution

Who You Are

  • You have 1-2 years of previous supervisory experience in the food service arena.
  • You have strong leadership qualities
  • You are detail-oriented
  • You genuinely enjoy customer service and working with a diversity of people
  • You love leading and working in fast-paced environments
  • You are a friendly team player with a positive attitude
  • Prior cooking experience and fluency in Spanish are a plus but not required.
  • You have a current ServSafe Food Safety Certificate (or you are willing to get one if you get hired).
  • You are able to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Please note this is an hourly position and pay includes tips. Our full-time supervisors gross around $55,000-$65,000 annually.
