We are a full-service manufacturing facility near downtown Reno that specializes in standing seam metal roofing, metal siding, flashing, gutters, snow splitters, architectural metals, etc. Position is for a full time Sheet Metal Fabricator. Job Summary: Performs journey level sheet metal machining utilizing: Shear, CNC Folder, Rollformer, Corner Notcher, etc. Lays out work from drawings, blueprints or written specifications. The following requirements are desired unless otherwise noted: Qualifications/Requirements of Position: ~ Must be able to communicate in English, Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a plus. ~ High School graduate or equivalent. ~ 3-5 Years experience is preferred; willing to train mechanically inclined person. ~ Be able to use and understand basic precision measuring equipment and shop math. ~Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints, customer sketches, written specifications and/or drawings. ~ Accurately complete daily work orders tracking hours and quantities of materials used. ~ Must be able to fill in at any position in the working area including to operating forklifts, hoists and typical shop fabrication equipment. ~ Must be able take accurate field measurements as required for in shop fabrication. ~ Must be able to maintain safety, quality control, production efficiency. ~ Must have clean driver’s license. ~ Be able to work Monday- Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm. ~ Hourly pay DOE Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location: In person
