About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Online Support Specialist to join our team for a temporary support role from June to December. This position involves supporting a production system developed on SharePoint Online that went live at the beginning of this year. The ideal candidate will help monitor the performance and storage usage of SharePoint, proactively seeking enhancements and adjusting storage capacity as needed to prevent issues.
Responsibilities:
* Support and maintain the SharePoint Online production system.
* Monitor performance and storage usage, implementing enhancements as needed.
* Provide user support for customized SharePoint solutions.
* Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and end-users effectively.
* Debug SharePoint solutions and troubleshoot issues across the platform.
* Develop and execute test cases to ensure solutions meet user needs.
Required Technical Skills:
* SharePoint Framework (SPFx):
*
Building client-side applications with web parts and extensions.
* JavaScript Frameworks:
* Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks like React.
* HTML/CSS:
* Strong skills in HTML5 and CSS3 for designing user interfaces.
* RESTful APIs:
* Experience with SharePoint REST API for data manipulation and integration.
* Microsoft Power Platform:
* Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), and Power BI.
* SharePoint Online Administration:
* Understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, site collections, lists, libraries, and permissions management.
* Workflow Development:
* Experience with SharePoint Designer workflows or Power Automate.
* Source Control:
* Proficiency in using Git for managing code repositories.
* Deployment and Packaging:
* Knowledge of packaging solutions for deployment to SharePoint Online.
* Security and Compliance:
* Awareness of security practices and compliance requirements.
* Testing and Debugging:
* Skills in testing and debugging SharePoint applications and Power Automate workflows.
Other Qualifications:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to analyze issues quickly and devise effective solutions.
* Experience in developing and executing test cases.
