Job Description
Implementing high quality, scalable and extendable SharePoint solutions
Proven track record of delivering client web applications
An active interest in pursuing technological advances and innovative ideas
Hands-on Microsoft Project Server and SharePoint Server (MOSS) experience to be able to administer, configure, customize, maintain, and update a fairly typical implementation at the organizational level
Hands-on Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience to be able to design, implement, and maintain customized reporting of Microsoft Project and SharePoint Server data
Must have hands-on experience developing complex, drill-down, parameter driven, adhoc reports with dashboard controls and Gantt chart controls using SSRS
Will work from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment and administration
Analyze technologies and technical processes
Identify areas for technical improvement
Create and implement various technical specifications
Awareness of migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs
Design and implement development workflow
Coding, testing and implementing solutions in a SharePoint environment
Taking directions from management in implementing solutions
Unit testing for all assigned deliverables
Will work from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment and administration
Analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement and create specifications and implement
Mandatory Requirements
Minimum Of 1-2 Years SharePoint (WSS/MOSS) Application Development Experience
Minimum of 3 years of pure .NET development (latest frameworks, Asp.Net 2.0, 3.5, C#, web parts, VB.Net, Visual Studio)
Strong knowledge of XML and XSL, Web Services
Knowledge of Java script, AJAX, JQUERY
Minimum of 2 years of working with databases and web services (SQL 2005/2008, XML, WSDL, ASMX and WCF)
Experience with SharePoint Designer, Workflows, SharePoint Administration
Experience in developing Web Applications and Windows Application
Development best practices - coding standards, source control, prototyping and technical documentation
Experience with n-tier architectures
Unit testing for all assigned deliverables
Packing and deploying SharePoint solutions
Desirable Requirements
Experience and knowledge of SS2010 is advantageous
Experience of client side development (JQuery, DHTML, DOM, AJAX)
Working within Microsoft's Team Foundation Server
Experience of Silver light development
Experience of working in various operating environments
Experience of SharePoint architecture and design
Experience administering SharePoint forms is desirable
Experience of integrating with API's
Teamwork
Good communication skills with the ability to communicate (verbally and written) to all levels of the business
