Seeking an experienced developer to support a major SharePoint modernization effort, focused on migrating legacy server-side applications from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2016. This role requires hands-on expertise in designing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise SharePoint environments, both out-of-the-box and highly customized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migrate legacy SharePoint 2007 server-side applications to SharePoint 2016 with minimal downtime
• Refactor and enhance existing code to align with current SharePoint architecture and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across SharePoint environments, including custom workflows, web parts, and authentication
• Perform detailed root cause analysis using tools like ULS logs and network trace diagnostics
• Maintain and configure SharePoint solutions post-migration, including site collections, lists, libraries, permissions, and service applications
• Collaborate with system architects and stakeholders to define technical requirements and support long-term scalability
• Contribute to system design documentation and version control through TFS or Git

Technical Proficiencies:

• SharePoint 2016 (server-side), with deep knowledge of SharePoint artifacts, master pages, page layouts, site templates, and service applications
• Advanced C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET
• Strong background in Microsoft SQL Server — writing queries, optimizing performance, and debugging
• Experience with Microsoft IIS, authentication methods, including Kerberos
• Solid understanding of InfoPath forms development, including code-behind and form migration strategies
• Familiarity with RESTful services, SOAP, and OData
• Front-end proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and common client-side libraries
• Experience with Sharegate or similar third-party SharePoint migration tools is a plus
• Exposure to modern frameworks such as SharePoint Framework (SPFx) is beneficial

• Communicates clearly, manages priorities effectively, and ensures code quality and maintainability
