Role Description

UST is looking for an experienced Salesforce System Analyst/Developer with strong expertise in Salesforce development, administration, and configuration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (Aura framework), and JavaScript frameworks. The role requires working closely with onshore teams and interacting with IT/Business stakeholders. Experience in the healthcare domain and Service Cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
• Administer, configure, and customize Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
• Work on Salesforce Lightning (Aura framework), creating and enhancing Lightning components.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using SOAP, REST, WSDL, and Bulk API.
• Work on Service Cloud and Sales Cloud implementations.
• Perform unit testing and create test classes following best practices.
• Manage production deployments using Change Sets, Eclipse, or ANT migration tool.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment errors.
• Work with Apex Data Loader and other ETL tools like Informatica, Boomi, Cast Iron, or Mulesoft.
• Implement security models, role hierarchies, and profile-based access controls in Salesforce.
• Interact with onshore teams (USA-based) for knowledge transition and project coordination.
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• 5 to 12 years of total IT experience, with 3 to 4 years in Salesforce development.
• Hands-on experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (Aura framework), and JavaScript frameworks.
• Expertise in Salesforce administration, configuration, and customization.
• Strong understanding of SOQL, SQL, and database development.
• Experience with Salesforce integration (SOAP, REST, Bulk API, Metadata API).
• Proficiency in Sales, Service, and Community Clouds.
• Experience with workflow rules, approval processes, reports, and dashboards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable solutions.
• Salesforce Certifications:
• Must Have: Developer Certification (Platform Dev 1) & AppBuilder Certification.
• Good to Have: Advanced Developer Certification (Platform Dev 2), Advanced Admin (ADM301), or Consultant Certifications (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce deployment processes.
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Salesforce mobile (Salesforce1/vfmobile), Heroku, Radian6, Einstein.
• Exposure to Java/.NET platforms.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, XML, AJAX, Google APIs, and JQuery.
  
  

Experience Range

• 5 to 12 years of total experience in IT, with at least 3 to 4 years in Salesforce development.
