ServiceNow Configuration Management Database Technical Lead Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity: CACI is looking for a ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Technical Lead to support our DoD customer to implement and maintain an enterprise IT CMDB platform that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment. On this program, CACI will deliver capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk and endpoint management for end user devices to enable the DoD customer to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations. This position is hybrid, with work expected on site in Chantilly, VA 2-3 days a week. Responsibilities: * Manage and provide technical oversight of the CMDB design and providing expertise to develop, implement, and monitor information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. * Provide guidance and leadership to the ServiceNow teams working with multiple project teams in support of day-to-day deliverables, establishing team objectives and operational plans. * Measure team success and progress towards achievement of defined goals and objectives. * Work with the ITSM Leadership team to set strategic goals across the Development, Architecture, Testing, and Agile focus areas. * Work alongside other EITaaS service teams to ensure requirements are captured and coordinated with the applicable capability teams. * Provide briefings and lead technical exchanges with the Department of the Air Force. * Provide Leadership, Mentoring, and Guidance to team members across the program. * Provide Subject Matter Expertise in all technology areas under CMDB implementation, delivery, and operations. * Lead, motivate, and develop a team of professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills, training, and resources to perform their duties effectively. * Lead and co-ordinate the go-live activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists. * Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to discuss release scope and impact Qualifications: Required: * Active secret clearance OR ability to obtain a secret clearance * 10+ years of relevant experience * Bachelor's Degree (or 15 yrs without a degree) * ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certifications. * Experience recommending commercial solutions to the DoD, especially in the CMDB and asset space. * Experience reviewing reports of computer equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine and address problems. * Experience supporting architecture design, development, implementation, and maintenance, especially related to CMDB and asset management. * Broad and deep understanding in ServiceNow ITSM & CMDB platform execution. * Experience managing ServiceNow dev teams in conceiving, planning, and conducting research and analysis for complex technological problems of considerable scope. * Experience with coordinating multiple workstreams across the teams to ensure timeline delivery of major capabilities. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed to work with business partners, engineering teams, and users. * 3+ years' experience leading development teams * 3+ years' experience working in ServiceNow CMDB * Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a service-oriented mindset * Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with self-motivation Desired: * Experience in supporting a large DoD or DHS enterprise environment. * Experience in the Risk Management Framework Process * Experience in the Systems Engineering Life Cycle or similar Systems Engineering Framework * ITIL V4 Foundations * DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (ex: Security+) * ________________________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
