We are looking for a
ServiceNow Application Developer with TS Clearance who can work on-site at the client location. The developer will support the development effort and provide high quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions across modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, and others
- Translate complex business and functional requirements into robust technical solutions, leveraging ServiceNow best practices and platform capabilities
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives
- Lead technical discovery sessions, gather requirements, and assess feasibility of new platform capabilities and enhancements
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and other platform tools
- Support Agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, code reviews, and deployments
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to standards
- Implement and maintain platform governance, coding standards, and development workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across environments, including integrations, performance tuning, and data quality concerns
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration guides, and deployment procedures
- Stay current on the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and certifications, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and innovation initiatives
- Collaborate with project managers and business process consultants to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of platform enhancements
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required (due to federal contract requirements)
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required
- Must be able to work on-site at the client location
- 1 year of experience in air-gapped environment
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow implementations within federal or public sector environments
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, HAM, and SAM
- Prior experience working in a classified or air-gapped environment
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow application development, with a focus on federal contracts or government programs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to federal stakeholders and decision-makers
- Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including federal clients, developers, and contract partners
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on optimizing platform performance and aligning solutions with business needs
- Deep understanding of federal compliance standards and security frameworks such as FISMA, FedRAMP, and ITIL
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models supporting federal IT modernization initiatives
- Ability to adapt quickly to secure, regulated environments, ensuring compliance while delivering high-quality solutions
