Are you a tech-savvy problem solver located in the Dallas area or open to relocation, with experience managing enterprise IT platforms? Applied Digital is seeking a ServiceNow Administrator to join our IT team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our ServiceNow platform, ensuring it supports seamless IT operations and business workflow automation.

As the ServiceNow Administrator, you will play a hands-on role in enhancing the performance and reliability of ServiceNow modules across departments. You will work closely with IT leadership, end users, and technical partners to maintain system integrity, implement process improvements, and support our growing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand process requirements, pain points, and desired outcomes.
  • Design and configure ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog, Asset Management, and more, to meet business needs.
  • Customize and develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts to automate processes and enhance user experience.
  • Perform data integration tasks to connect ServiceNow with other systems, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into performance and trends.
  • Participate in project planning, requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation phases.
  • Perform testing and validation of configured solutions to ensure they meet the specified requirements and are free of defects.
  • Provide end-user training and documentation to promote proper usage of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Stay up to date with ServiceNow best practices, new features, and industry trends to continually improve implementation processes.
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the stability and scalability of the platform.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience within a mid-to-large-scale IT environment.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow platform administration, scripting, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL concepts and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certifications (e.g., ITSM, CMDB, or Developer) are a plus.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong understanding of IT service management processes and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with configuring and customizing the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide, Jelly), UI/UX design, and integration techniques.
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • ServiceNow certifications (such as Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus.
