Description

We are looking for a dedicated Service Technician to join our team in Glen Allen, Virginia. This contract-to-permanent position is ideal for an experienced IT individual who thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment. You will play a critical role in providing technical support and ensuring optimal performance of both hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop workstations and related hardware and software.

Deliver comprehensive support for Office 365 applications and services.

Manage Active Directory tasks, including user account setup and group policy updates.

Diagnose and configure network equipment such as routers and switches.

Provide assistance with server-related operations in a Windows-based environment.

Ensure all systems are set up in compliance with company standards and security protocols.

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and problem resolutions.

Respond promptly to technical issues, delivering effective and customer-focused solutions.

Requirements

At least 3 years of hands-on IT support experience in a similar role.

Proficiency in Office 365, Active Directory, and general networking principles.

Strong skills in configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches.

Familiarity with Windows-based server environments and desktop workstation setup.

Experience with technologies such as Cisco, Citrix, and Dell hardware.

Knowledge of configuration management and backup technologies.

Competence in supporting Apple devices and Android platforms.

Excellent Problem-solving Abilities And Strong Communication Skills.
