The primary responsibility of the Operations Manager is to oversee the installation and service departments of the branch. This includes mentoring and empowering employees to complete tasks efficiently and working closely with customers to ensure exceptional service delivery. In this role, you will:

· Supervise the Installation, Inventory, and Service Departments to ensure operational efficiency.

· Interview, hire, lead, and evaluate staff to maintain a high-performing team.

· Develop and enforce operations policies and procedures to support branch success.

· Assist Sales with system design and technical requirements to support customer solutions.

· Train technicians on alarm technology and monitoring systems to improve technical capabilities.

· Support Service and Installation coordinators in scheduling, follow-up, and completion of work.

· Assist in developing service and installation methods to improve operations and customer satisfaction

· Provide ongoing training to meet evolving client needs

· Troubleshoot customer issues in collaboration with customer service

· Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations


ADDITIONAL MANAGEMENT DUTIES

· Hire, train, and mentor direct reports and offer additional training as needed

· Oversee installation and service supervisors

· Travel as required (some overnight travel expected)


What you’ll need:

· 3–5 years of experience as a lead technician, manager, or supervisor in the Fire Alarm or Construction Industry (alternate industries will be considered)

· Ability to obtain required licensure/certifications per state regulations

· NICET II certification recommended but not required

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

· Proficiency in mathematical concepts and measurements (geometry, percentages, volume, etc.)

· Strong knowledge of fire and electrical codes to ensure safe installations
