Summary

About the job:

You will be working with a high degree of freedom with reference to the Technical Director for CrossWorkers Egypt Ltd. However, you will also work closely together with the Danish CEO.

You will be a cornerstone in the Cairo operation with the responsibility for the different customer Teams – often with direct contact with customers in Europe. However, you will also have the opportunity to demonstrate your managerial skills and ability to continue the development of CrossWorkers Egypt Ltd.

Some travel activities to Europe must be expected.


Technical profile/ Your duties:

You have senior experience within IT software development, you have a good business understanding (customer contact) and have experience in managing technical staff. You are used to working in an international environment and can work from anywhere in the world if needed.

The keywords for the position are:

  • Technical experience – Proven software development experience “Team leader/Architect/Technical manager/Project Management”, broad technical understanding

You have a high degree of commitment to Employees, Customers, and the Company.

You have good oral and written English skills (company language) and of course Arabic.


Responsibilities:

Your role is to ensure that the organization chooses the right candidates (technically) and that employees and teams are being technically developed to be in line with customer needs present and future.

It is also the role to ensure that the basis of running a professional IT operation is in place – e.g. infrastructure, licenses, and methods. In some customer cases, the SDS will perform project-based work for the customers – e.g. Technology recommendations, Best practises and Consultancy.

In connection with the rest of the management, you will have responsibilities within the following areas:

  • Advice to Team leaders
  • Technology coordination between Teams
  • New Technology screening
  • Internal training
  • Motivation

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering is a must
  • International experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Service delivery management and 2+ years of management experience in the Offshoring or Outsourcing Industry.
  • On-Hands Experience in the Software development industry
  • Ability to motivate staff in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
