We at LTI Mindtree hiring for Service Delivery Manager

Education: Bachelors/Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Minimum Experience: 12-16 years

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners to 30 days

Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata


Team Leadership Development

  • Lead a cross functional team of software engineers quality assurance specialists and support staff
  • Mentor and guide team members in their professional growth ensuring a culture of collaboration learning and high performance
  • Promote the adoption of best practices in coding design and software development
  • Ensure team members are well supported providing assistance with technical challenges and career development


Project Management

  • Oversee the full project lifecycle for ongoing support initiatives including design development testing deployment and maintenance
  • Collaborate with project managers business analysts and other stakeholders to define project requirements scope and timelines
  • Manage project risks identify potential issues and proactively mitigate risks to ensure the timely delivery of project milestones
  • Communicate progress regularly to stakeholders ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Technical Leadership Solution Design
  • Provide hands on leadership and oversight for the technical direction of the project
  • Review and approve technical architecture design decisions and implementation approaches
  • Ensure the development of scalable reliable and maintainable software solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement in software quality performance and security


Support Maintenance

  • Oversee the ongoing support and maintenance of the software post deployment ensuring issues are quickly identified and resolved
  • Coordinate with the support team to address critical production issues and prioritize fixes based on severity and business impact
  • Implement monitoring and ing systems to proactively detect issues and ensure system health
  • Collaboration Communication
  • Foster strong communication channels between cross functional teams including development QA operations and business units
  • Facilitate meetings provide regular status updates and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Collaborate with the product management team to prioritize new features updates and enhancements


Process Improvement

  • Champion Agile development methodologies eg Scrum or Kanban and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance productivity
  • Implement and ensure adherence to coding standards version control practices and testing protocols


Resource Budget Management

  • Manage resource allocation and ensure the team is adequately staffed and equipped to meet project requirements
  • Provide input into budget forecasting ensuring that resources are used effectively and efficiently


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
  • Experience Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role


Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with modern programming languages eg Java C Python JavaScript
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms AWS Azure Google Cloud and containerization technologies eg Docker Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with databases SQL NoSQL and DevOps practices
  • Hands on experience with Agile methodologies Scrum Kanban
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
  • Experience with CICD pipelines automated testing and deployment processes
  • Leadership Communication Skills
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a software development team in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with enterprise scale systems or high availability applications
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools eg Prometheus Grafana and issue tracking systems eg Jira
  • Previous experience managing a support or maintenance driven project
