POSITION: Service Coordinator

Founded in 2014, DWS Energy is a rapidly expanding, multi-disciplinary electrical construction company focused on commercial and utility-scale solar and battery storage (new construction and operations & maintenance), building controls wiring, and electrical pre-fabrication solutions in our UL-508A certified panel shop. The organization has expanded its service offerings throughout its tenure and continues to grow at an accelerated rate.

OVERVIEW:

The Service Coordinator role will be responsible for scheduling, directing, and monitoring service work for technicians across multiple regions in Texas. Must be able to communicate with various customer types, division managers, and field technicians daily within our industrial, electrical, and solar service areas. This role involves ensuring efficient and effective scheduling and documentation of field service calls. The Service Coordinator will work closely with the Procurement Manager, Technical Manager, and Field Tech team to provide outstanding support to our customers.

DUTIES: The duties and responsibilities of the Service Coordinator may include but are not limited to:

• Develop and maintain workflow for Field Technicians in multiple departments and in multiple types of work
• Generate, schedule, track, monitor, and verify Work Orders until completion
• Develop customer-specific documentation procedures for Work Orders and coordinate with Field Technicians on records
• Assist AR in billing Work Orders
• Assist Project Managers in developing Service processes for new customers and new services
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS: The following are required skills and qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an ERP Service Mgmt. software system
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Time management and critical prioritization skills.
• 3+ years of previous Service or Construction coordinator experience is a plus.
  
  

REQUIREMENTS: The following are physical requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a shop or office environment.
• Ability to work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.
