In your capacity as a Technician at the Houston Service Center, you will acquire comprehensive expertise in non-destructive testing technologies and enhance the technical proficiency of the team. Your role will include supporting the local team to operate autonomously and collaborating with experts in Quebec, France, and the R&D team. Furthermore, you will actively participate in ensuring the timely completion of calibrations and repairs. This position necessitates a robust foundation in electronics, meticulous attention to detail, and superior communication skills to assist technicians, coordinate globally, and interact with customers regarding technical matters. Additionally, eventual travel within the United States and Latin America could be required as needed. As Service Center Technician, you will have to: * Develop in-depth knowledge of our equipment families, including Eddyfi, Silverwing, M2M, and Inuktun. * Provide technical support to onsite technicians, troubleshooting issues and ensuring timely solutions. * Communicate effectively with customers, for technical question, addressing technical inquiries and ensuring clear, professional flow of information. * Diagnose faults, carry out necessary repairs, and conduct final quality control. * Analyze electrical schematics, identify defective components, and find technical workarounds in collaboration with our R&D department. * Manage multiple technical issues simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Maintain data consistency and accuracy in databases, ensuring that technical issues, resolutions, and insights are properly documented. * Utilize and update Salesforce and JIRA databases; experience with these is a plus. * Collaborate closely with technical sales specialists to enhance product support and customer experience. * Assist the service department as needed, depending on workload and priorities. * Perform calibration and preventive maintenance of electronic equipment to ensure proper functioning. What makes you an asset to our team: * Degree in electronics or instrumentation measurement. * Strong background in electronics and technical troubleshooting, with a required minimum of 5 years of experience in designing or servicing electronic products. * Availability to travel, including abroad when necessary. * Ability to work in an environment with customer satisfaction requirements. * Excellent communication skills. * High proficiency in written and spoken English; Spanish and/or French are a plus. * Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. * Ability to learn quickly and acquire deep product knowledge. * Capability to coordinate information flow between internal teams, global specialists, and customers. * Experience with Eddyfi, Silverwing, M2M, or Inuktun equipment is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with Salesforce and JIRA for managing technical issues and documentation. * Prior experience in technical support, field service, or product training.
