Summary

Role Description:

The On-Call Server supports culinary services and ensures exceptional hospitality for all guests and employees. This role requires collaboration with the Front of House team, Chefs, Cooks. Key responsibilities include assisting with full table dining, reception setup and service, and beverage service. Success in this role is measured by delivering outstanding service, maintaining professionalism, and adapting to the dynamic nature of daily operations and events. This is on event-based, on-call position, to support fluctuations in business and absences from our full time team.

Our in-house culinary team is composed of food and beverage specialists dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality and creating unique, memorable experiences for all guests. We operate with a "start-up" mentality, focusing on quality, speed, execution, and delivering unparalleled “Customer Wow!”

Your Impact (Success): Success in this role will be measured by your ability to:

Your Impact (Responsibilities):

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to all guidelines.
  • Enforce sanitation standards and comply with health and legal regulations.
  • Assist with food and beverage service in the Exhibition Kitchen and other event spaces.
  • Help set up and break down event spaces, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintain attention to detail regarding table settings, glassware, and guest interactions.
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and attentive service to guests throughout events.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • High-level fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage, with particular emphasis on wine.
  • Minimum of 4 years of fine dining restaurant service experience.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent guest engagement skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs.
  • Strong attention to detail regarding physical spaces and guest interactions.
  • Ability to work on one’s feet for up to 8 hours per shift, if necessary.
  • Ability to move 50 pounds and carry it at least 25 feet unassisted.
  • Commitment to maintaining a polished, professional appearance.
  • Ability to pivot quickly and refocus efforts to achieve success in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

  • Experience working in a corporate environment or similar industry (e.g., Business Consulting, IT Consulting/Services, Cloud-based technology companies).
  • Experience in a Michelin-star restaurant or similarly refined dining setting.
