Company Description

Under-Study is a new culinary marketplace opening in May of 2025. Located at 607 St. Helena Highway, adjacent to PRESS, Under-Study will be spearheaded by Chef Philip Tessier and Director of Operations Justin Williams. This space will feature a modern patisserie, a butcher shop, seafood sourced from local and Japanese purveyors, charcuterie, and an ingredient-inspired counter service area. The goal is to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere where guests can enjoy outstanding cuisine at an accessible price point. The space will also offer curated wines, coffees, teas, seasonal cocktails, beers, and retail bottle selections.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Server located in Napa, CA. The Server will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. Additional responsibilities include setting up and clearing tables, explaining menu items, and collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of food and beverage items, with a particular focus on wines, coffees, and teas
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality service
• Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry is a plus
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
