We are seeking a QA Engineer (Manual) with a passion for quality, strong analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring high standards of product delivery through rigorous manual testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Design : Analyze business and technical requirements to design comprehensive test strategies, detailed test plans, and well-structured test cases.
• Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough functional, integration, smoke, regression, and API testing to ensure flawless software performance.
• Defect Management : Identify, reproduce, and report bugs effectively; collaborate closely with developers for timely resolution and retesting.
• Risk-Based Testing : Apply risk-based approaches to prioritize test coverage, ensuring alignment with business objectives and minimizing quality risks.
• Collaboration & Agile Practices : Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders during Agile/Scrum sprints to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
• Process Optimization : Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and testing methodologies to enhance team efficiency.
• User-Centric Testing : Approach testing from the end-users perspective, suggesting usability enhancements and product improvements.
  
  

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in B/B.Tech or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing, preferably in EdTech or SaaS-based environments.
• Proven experience in testing responsive web and mobile applications.
• Minimum 3 years of API testing experience using tools like Postman or JMeter.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology for at least 2 years.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks and writing BDD-style test cases.
  
  

Skills & Competencies

• Strong command of test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and experience writing complex SQL queries.
• Excellent documentation skills able to draft clear and detailed test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities with a strong user-focused mindset.
  
  

Good-to-Have

• Working knowledge of automation tools such as Katalon, Selenium, and Java.
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC best practices.
