SEO Account Manager

Salary £33k - £36k Basic (dependent on experience)

We are looking to strengthen our digital marketing team with an SEO Account Manager. We are looking for someone, confident, self-motivated, and passionate about digital marketing. This will include a keen interest in growing client visibility through technical SEO, content creation, CRO, content marketing and link acquisition.
What to expect as a SEO Account Manager?
- Enhancing organic search performance.
- Utilising Google Search Console and tools like Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and GA4 to measure and report on performance
- Working with our internal Content, UX, PR & Dev teams to deliver 1st class SEO campaigns
- ‘Big Campaigns for small businesses’ is a tagline within the SEO department but something we aim to live by
- Working closely within a thriving team of account managers and delivery team
Typical tasks for an SEO Account Manager:
- Be the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring effective results-based reporting is delivered on regularly
- Having a clear understanding of the client's objectives and campaign results
- Identifying opportunities to improve performance in organic visibility through both on and off page methods
- Staying up to date with industry developments and anticipate where changes provide opportunity for your client base
- Being responsible for the day-to-day efficiency of your work and as such should be able to plan your time and responsibilities effectively
- Use experience to identify flags and opportunities within a wider customer base
- Occasionally assists sales in pitching and winning new business
- Develop internal processes to improve client experience
- Can evidence history of success in 3 core elements of the role - Strategy, Execution and Reporting
Required Skills:
- Confident with the use of various SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs and/or other analysis tools.
- Previous account management experience
- Experience delivering presentations to clients or internal stakeholders
- Experience in either brand and client side or agency environments
- Good attention to detail
- Demonstrate previous success in delivering ROI through search campaigns
Desirable Skills:
- Screaming Frog, Sitebulb or similar crawling software
- Ahrefs, Semrush
- Knowledge of other digital marketing channels such as Facebook and PPC
