The Data Team is responsible for building and managing an end-to-end data platform that supports multiple business domains. Beyond engineering, we serve as a bridge connecting all users and functions through the data and platforms we develop. Driven by a data-first culture, we empower decentralized data usage and leverage cutting-edge technologies and tools to serve our users and business effectively.

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines using GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Airflow.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT processes with tools like DBT and Dataform.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business needs.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by following best practices and implementing automated testing across workflows.
• Build and maintain real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka.
• Write complex and efficient SQL queries, including ZetaSQL, for data transformation, analysis, and reporting.
• Monitor and troubleshoot the performance and scalability of data pipelines.
• Optimize and manage the performance of the BigQuery environment to ensure efficient data querying and analytics.
• Continuously improve and evolve data architecture and processes in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to the growth and success of the data engineering team.
  

• Proven track record of exceptional performance in data engineering.
• At least 5+ years of experience building data platforms on GCP, especially for high-transaction, complex platforms.
• Deep passion for data and data technologies.
• Experience deploying applications to production, including managing CI/CD workflows.
• Proficiency in real-time data processing frameworks such as Kafka.
• Expertise in DBT, Dataform, and other modern ETL/ELT tools.
• Hands-on experience with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
• Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, data modeling, BigQuery, SQL, and ZetaSQL.
• Strong communication skills, capable of working both collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
