Senior Web Designer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work directly with clients to create mock-ups of what their website, mobile app and/or email marketing templates will look like.
- Design website content elements using modern UI, responsive, and typography principals and MUST have strong technical knowledge of HTML and CSS to modify/create content elements.
- Create and manage content for existing and new website customers using the ClubHouse Online E3 content manager.
- Build web content using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices and comfortably explain SEO guidelines and techniques with clients.
- Preform misc. design related and administrative tasks as required and ensure design deadlines are met.
- Create custom HTML email templates for the ClubHouse Online Email Marketing platform
- Must be comfortable using graphics editor software (i.e. Adobe Photoshop) to create and modify design assets for clients.
- Administrative tasks such as project tracking via online Customer Management Software
- Host online meetings directly with clients via Online Conference tools (i.e. WebEx, GoToMeeting, Zoom) to help with the site design/redesign project process.
- As a Senior Web Designer, additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with design inquiries. Ability to help assess and quote client requests.
- Regularly assigned, but must also be able to assist team members with more high-profile client design projects.
- Be a champion in monitoring Web Design Cases board, team email inbox for any design related issues, inquiries, etc. This also includes being a Assist in monitoring Web Design Cases board, team email inbox.
- Know all ClubHouse Online platforms from a design perspective (NR/R/W) and be able to coach/train team members.
- Better understanding of other department’s roles; i.e. modules, process. Possess ability to answer team member questions before the need to approach other departments directly.
- Be more involved in the hiring process of new web designers on the team (i.e. join the initial interviews w/ Team Lead, Manager(s)).
- Be a point person for new hires with the onboarding process (assist with New Designer Training Process).
- UI/UX Experience to offer team members/clients best practices with using our CHO platform.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3-year experience building website pages/content.
- Advanced working knowledge of HTML, CSS is a MUST. Knowledge JavaScript would be an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of responsive, modern UI, and typography design. Experience with designing for various devices and operating systems.
- Working knowledge of graphic/multimedia/HTML editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Visual Studio Code, Notepad ++, Sublime Text, etc.
- Experience working with a Content Management System (CMS) such as Kentico, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace.
- Working knowledge with Email Marketing software such as Mail Chimp, Constant Contact, Emma, Campaigner.
- Must be comfortable in communicating directly with clients throughout the full project process; including, but not limited to, design discussions, requirements gathering, email follow-ups, design execution, etc.
- Ability to understand and follow wireframes, sitemaps and prototypes.
- Knowledge of website best practices including knowledge or SEO and web accessibility principles.
- Excellent organizational, time management, punctuality and customer service skills.
- Detail oriented with an ability to prioritize tasks with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
