You will be involved in the development and operation of our in-house product, which has been used by many customers and has a long track record. Your mission will be to continuously improve the service to make it more user-friendly for a larger number of users, while ensuring stable system operation. You will be responsible for improving the quality of the current product and solving technical challenges.

Required Skills

• Bilingual in Japanese and English (N2 or higher)
• Able to participate in and understand both technical and business discussions within or across teams in both languages, actively contributing opinions with ease.
• Capable of acting as a communication hub for non-Japanese and non-English speakers within the team.
• 10+ years of experience in backend web application development
• 5+ years of experience in PHP development
• Experience in the full software development lifecycle, from specifications to release
• Experience as a tech lead or team leader in a development team
• Experience managing high-transaction systems
• Experience with performance tuning
• Experience in bug investigation and remediation
• Experience with peer reviews
