CMD Software builds software for businesses and startups, with a focus on automation and AI. We’re based in a buzzing co-working space in the heart of Burleigh Heads – great coffee, beautiful beaches and a creative culture.

We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Web Application Developer to own end-to-end feature development across client projects and SaaS products. You’ll work hands-on with Laravel and Filament – building UIs, writing clean code, testing thoroughly, and helping us ship quality software, fast.

What you’ll do

• Craft web applications using Filament
• Build and own features using the TALL stack (Tailwind, Alpine.js, Laravel, Livewire)
• Comprehensively test code using Pest
• Collaborate directly with founders and stakeholders to shape and deliver software
• Work autonomously – briefed once, trusted to execute
• Contribute ideas and elevate the way we build

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of experience with Laravel
• Filament expert – deep experience required
• Confident building full features independently, end to end
• Great communicator – clear, human, and stakeholder-friendly
• Product-minded – you care about the why, not just the what
• Self-motivated and hungry to do your best work

• Experience integrating AI features into apps (OpenAI API or others)

• Knowledge of SEO or web performance
• Contributions to open source (share PRs or projects)
• A design eye with knowledge of UI/UX best practices
