As a Senior Video Editor at 2X, you will lead the creation and execution of high-quality B2B video content, driving impactful visual storytelling that aligns with client objectives and brand standards. In this role, you'll oversee a team in developing creative concepts and delivering video solutions that meet strategic goals. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide expert guidance on video strategies and initiatives while mentoring and empowering video editors and associates to excel in their roles.

Responsibilities

  • Visual Development & Animatio n: Create storyboards, conceptualize, develop all graphic visuals, and animate videos for client projects.
  • Brand Integration: Ensure all designs comply with client guidelines and design standards.
  • Innovation & Brainstorming: Brainstorm new ideas for various design and animation challenges.
  • Research: Conducting research on media techniques and design ideas.
  • Partnership and Cross-Functional Collaboration : Serve as a trusted partner to directors, principals, and senior managers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as content, marketing & data) to gather requirements and define design objectives aligned with project goals.
  • Client Management: Manage client feedback and revisions, ensuring designs meet client expectations and project requirements.
  • People Management: Lead, mentor, and manage editors , providing guidance and support to enhance their skills. Foster a positive, collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
  • Deliverables:
  • Manage and p rovide design solutions for sales and digital marketing materials, including account-based marketing (ABM) and demand-generation campaigns.
  • Lead strategic assessment and execute high-quality video editing, asset design, motion graphics and 2D animated for video deliverables (brand video, explainer & product video, etc.), for website and social media to support the email marketing/digital campaign for the client.
  • Overseeing & strategizing the entire post-production process from start to finish, including video editing, sound mixing, and color grading . Developing and maintaining the post-production workflow, including organizing and managing media files , troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining a clean and efficient workflow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Art Design Creative Multimedia or equivalent, Cinematography/ Photography/Videography/ Visual Arts or related field.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in video editing & motion design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of video work, including promotional videos, social media content, etc.
  • Experience in managing and guiding a team of junior editors , coupled with a deep understanding of video production workflows and the creative process.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (including but not limited to After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator), or equivalent tools.
  • Understanding of a video production workflow from pre to post-production to delivery.
  • Strong sense of graphic design, compositions and animation.
  • Creative mind and good storytelling skills.
  • Ability to keep up with the latest trends in video marketing & motion design.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented with impeccable attention to detail and design sensibility.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
