Role Overview

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across a variety of platforms and products. You’ll leverage your deep understanding of design principles, systems, and user research to create visually stunning, user-friendly designs that meet both business and user needs. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with researchers, designers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design consistency, scalability, and exceptional usability.

Key Responsibilities

• Take the lead on design initiatives across multiple platforms, driving the user experience and design vision from concept to completion. You will ensure the product experience is aligned with both user needs and business goals, while also pushing creative boundaries.
• Contribute to the creation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our design system, ensuring consistency across all products. You’ll work on evolving the system as the product grows, collaborating with the team to ensure best practices are followed and that components remain reusable and scalable.
• Drive the design process by incorporating user feedback, conducting research, and advocating for the user. You’ll lead efforts in user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to ensure that your designs solve real user problems.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions are implemented efficiently and meet technical and business requirements. You will be the key point of contact for design feedback and iteration.
• Create high-quality UI/UX design deliverables, including wireframes, prototypes, visual designs, and interaction patterns. Ensure designs are both visually compelling and user-friendly.
• Provide mentorship to junior designers and share your knowledge of design best practices with the wider team. Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in UI/UX design and design systems.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work, particularly in creating intuitive, user-centered designs across web and mobile platforms.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar, with a solid understanding of design systems and how to implement and maintain them effectively.
• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers.
• Strong understanding of user research methods and the ability to translate research insights into actionable design decisions.
• A deep understanding of design principles, such as typography, color theory, and layout, with the ability to balance aesthetic appeal and functionality.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in creating and maintaining design systems for scalable, consistent, and high-quality user interfaces.
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup or growth-focused environment.
• Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how designs translate into code.
• Work on user experiences for Power BI dashboards or other analytics tools, making complex data more accessible and actionable.Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or similar dashboards, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly reporting interfaces.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices in design.
