We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior UX/UI Design Manager with a passion for crafting exceptional user experiences and a strong background in WordPress development. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role is both strategic and hands-on, leading the design and development of digital products while collaborating closely with the Digital Content Marketing Manager and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have expertise in UX/UI design, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress management, email marketing, and branding—ensuring cohesive, engaging, and high-performing digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities
UX/UI Strategy & Management
- Define and lead the overall UX/UI strategy for the company’s digital products.
- Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and market assessments to inform design decisions.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing projects based on business needs and user impact.
- Oversee the entire design and development process, ensuring smooth execution from concept to launch.
WordPress Management & Development
- Oversee the development, customization, and maintenance of WordPress websites.
- Manage and implement themes, plugins, and integrations to optimize website performance.
- Ensure website responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and SEO optimization for an optimal user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.
- Maintain website security, backups, and version control to ensure reliability.
Design & Brand Development
- Lead the design and development of website content, including graphics, imagery, and copywriting.
- Provide graphic design support for print projects as needed, ensuring brand consistency across both digital and traditional marketing materials.
- Create and manage engaging email campaigns using Mailchimp and other platforms, ensuring alignment with branding and UX best practices.
- Develop and maintain email templates, automation workflows, and audience segmentation strategies to improve engagement and conversions.
- Ensure all design assets, including logos, style guides, and image libraries, are maintained and aligned with brand identity.
- Uphold industry best practices for accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and conversion optimization across digital platforms.
Mailchimp Integration & Email Campaign Management
- Oversee Mailchimp integrations with WordPress and other marketing tools to drive seamless email marketing operations.
- Set up and refine email automation, drip campaigns, and A/B testing strategies for continuous optimization.
- Monitor key performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and implement data-driven improvements.
- Ensure proper audience segmentation and list hygiene for targeted email campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop lead-nurturing email flows that drive engagement.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and other departments to align design efforts with business goals.
- Effectively communicate design concepts and technical requirements to stakeholders.
- Present design work to internal teams and external partners, articulating design rationale and strategic insights.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, website development, and digital product management.
- Expertise in WordPress development, customization, and plugin management.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or similar design tools.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (bonus: familiarity with PHP for WordPress customization).
- Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar) and best practices for automation, segmentation, and performance tracking.
- Understanding of SEO, web performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills to measure UX success, email campaign performance, and user engagement.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a keen ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable strategies.
- Experience in conducting usability testing and using insights to iterate on designs.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Crazy Egg) to track user engagement and improve conversion rates.
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals, structured data, and metadata optimization for SEO.
- Expertise in mobile-first design and experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA).
