Senior UX Software Engineer - Hybrid - Tokyo - Networking/Infrastructure

Please note: Suitable candidates must reside locally in Tokyo. While Japanese language skills are nice to have, fluency in English is required for development tasks.

We are seeking a full-time Senior UX Software Engineer (JavaScript/React) based in the Tokyo area. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to understand customer needs and design intuitive user interfaces for enterprise network monitoring and management.

• Diagnose and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Participate actively in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a software developer.
• High Level of Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web development.
• Familiarity with web packaging tools such as Webpack.
• Strong aesthetic design sense and logical problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work independently and in remote setups.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in network management or systems administration.
• Knowledge of React and/or Redux frameworks.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ownership and initiative in projects.

Working Environment This is a hybrid role, requiring attendance at the office one to two days per week, with flexibility to work remotely on other days. Fluency in English is required for development tasks, and Japanese language skills, while beneficial, are not mandatory.
