Role Description:

This is a full-time position for a Senior Urban Designer who will undertake a variety of responsibilities. The Senior Urban Designer will oversee client interactions, project management, stakeholder engagement, project design and development, as well as coordination with other disciplines and consultants. The role involves engaging with clients to discern their needs, managing project timelines, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client relationships, ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead project design and development efforts, adhering to project goals and objectives.
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external consultants to integrate various project components.
• Prepare tender documents, drawings, and construction drawings as required.
• Maintain project schedules and budgets, monitoring progress to achieve milestones.

Qualifications:

• Master's or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the industry, demonstrating a strong background in architectural and urban design.
• Experience in Tourism-based Urban Design projects is advantageous.
• Proficiency in preparing tender documents, drawings, and construction drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team effectively and collaborate with colleagues and clients.
• Proven track record in managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Familiarity with sustainability principles and Green certifications such as LEED, IGBC, or GRIHA is desirable.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit software.
• Willingness to travel to project locations for meetings as necessary.
