What you’ll do:
The Senior UI Designer is responsible for the visual and interaction design language and system of TotallyMoney. They are responsible for the overall visual design of the current experience and work strategically to conceptualise and realise our future experiences. The role sits within the Product Design team and works collaboratively across our customer-focused product teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience in creating, maintaining and evolving best-in-class visual design languages and systems. They will have experience working closely and collaboratively with colleagues in engineering to ensure the visual design language is fully realised in product. The Senior UI Designer will work closely with the Product Director and Head of Product Design to define and deliver a visual roadmap which supports and aligns to company strategy and objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating, maintaining and evolving a best-in-class visual design language for all TotallyMoney product experiences.
- Ensuring a constant high standard for the visual execution of our product.
- Working conceptually to help shape and define the future direction of the product.
- Working collaboratively across product teams and the wider business to implement the visual language of the product.
- Defining and delivering a roadmap for visual design that aligns with strategic directions
- Mentoring, coaching and upskilling other designers and the wider business in our visual design language and system
- Building a strong collaborative relationship with the engineering team.
Requirements
- Highly skilled in digital interaction design with a creative yet strategic mindset
- Be a Figma and component library master
- Strong track record of developing design systems at scale
- Experience with the creation, organisation and maintenance of a ZeroHeight account and library
- Strong organisation and planning skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

The hiring process:
