Job Description
We are SLR Consulting (US), a 500+ coast-to-coast team of advisory, environmental/engineering, and regulatory professionals. We deliver environmental and sustainability services to our clients through the integration of over 30 advisory, technical environmental, and engineering disciplines to help clients address some of their most complex challenges around sustainability. As our new senior-level Transportation Engineer or Planner, you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal.

- The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications/Education/Memberships:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Transportation Engineering, Planning, Urban Planning, or related field
- 10+ years of increasingly responsible professional experience
- Professional Engineer certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to present and convey information clearly and concisely
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal guidelines/standards, policies, and procedures
- Desire to be on the forefront of the evolving transportation planning field
- Familiarity with emerging best-practices/guidelines in transportation, smart cities, micro-mobility, and urban transportation
- Valid driver’s license
- Willing to travel by airplane and car, including overnight travel
- Critical thinking and strong communication skills (graphic, written, and interpersonal)
- Efficient, thorough, detail-oriented, and dedicated to quality work
- Ability to establish, manage, maintain and grow client relationships
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment across numerous disciplines
