My Client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join their growing team in West Palm Beach, FL. This role is ideal for a seasoned electrical engineer with a strong background in transmission line projects, looking to lead impactful utility projects across Florida and the Southeast.

You’ll be a key technical contributor working on complex engineering designs for high-voltage transmission projects (69kV–500kV), supporting both public and private utility clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and analysis of high-voltage transmission lines

Prepare detailed engineering plans using tools such as PLS-CADD and MicroStation

Serve as a technical mentor to junior engineers and drafters

Ensure compliance with NESC, IEEE, and client-specific standards

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)

7+ years of experience in transmission line

Proficiency in PLS-CADD is essential

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

Strong understanding of NESC and utility standards

Excellent communication and project leadership skills
