Senior Testing Analyst Onsite Location Jersey City, NJ & New York, NY Required Skills Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Over 6+ years of experience in designing, creating, and validating Actimize rules used for AML, fraud detection and surveillance modules. Actimize Testing with strong experience in the Rules Engine, alert lifecycle testing, and test automation using Playwright with Python. Responsible for end-to-end testing of NICE Actimize solutions, ensuring compliance with business rules, accurate alert generation, and seamless system behavior. This role blends domain expertise in financial crime and AML with modern test automation practices to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient QA processes. Tasks: Creating Actimize Rules, generating Alerts for Testing. Roles and Responsibilities Test Planning & Execution: Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test data related to Actimize modules and workflows. Perform functional, regression, data integrity, and integration testing across Actimize systems. Collaborate with developers and business analysts to interpret rule logic and verify expected outcomes. Automation with Playwright + Python: Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Playwright with Python. Automate UI and API test cases for Actimize front-end components. Ensure reusability and maintainability of automation frameworks, adhering to best coding practices. Data Validation & Back-End Testing: Use SQL to verify data across Actimize databases, validate alerts, and check rule trigger conditions. Create test datasets to simulate transaction patterns, behavioral anomalies, and risk thresholds. Defect Management & Reporting: Identify, log, and track issues using tools like JIRA. Work closely with developers to analyze root causes and retest resolved issues. Provide test summary reports, automation run reports, and status dashboards to stakeholders. Design, create, and validate Actimize rules used for AML, fraud detection and surveillance modules. Generate and test alerts based on simulated data or real transaction feeds to verify rule accuracy and behavior. Develop and execute detailed test cases and scripts to validate workflows, thresholds, and risk scoring models. Perform end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, integration, and UAT. Validate data flows from source systems to Actimize through ETL processes. Identify, log, and track issues related to rule logic or alert misfires. Analyze and document test results, providing insights and recommendations to improve rule effectiveness. Collaborate with developers, BAs, data engineers, and compliance teams to interpret rule logic and expected alert behavior. Ensure adherence to compliance requirements and industry best practices in rule configuration and testing. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 05/14/2025. The annual salary for this position is between $[53,477 - $92,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
