Summary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in wire harness and LRU testing, including Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and vibration testing in Aerospace or Defense manufacturing environment highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IPC 610/620, J-STD 001 standards, and relevant industry testing protocols.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring Junior Engineers and Technicians.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with production scheduling and the ability to prioritize testing activities effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with testing software and diagnostic tools.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage testing operations for wire harnesses and LRUs, ensuring compliance with aerospace and military standards.
  • Operate and oversee ATE and vibration testing to verify system reliability and performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues identified during testing.
  • Maintain accurate test records and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to synchronize testing with production schedules.
  • Identify inefficiencies in testing processes and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide training to test technicians and engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall system performance and product quality.
