Akkodis is seeking a System Test Engineer for a 12-month contract with a client in Pleasanton, CA 94588 (Onsite).

Title: System Test Engineer

Location: Pleasanton, CA 94588 (Onsite)

Contract: 12 months Contract with Possible extension

Pay Rate: $65-70/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Interview:

1st Round: 30-minute video interview with the Hiring Manager

2nd Round: 30-minute video interview with another manager

Job Description:

The Sr. Systems Engineer will support day-to-day systems engineering activities for sustaining medical device programs. This includes work on test protocols, test planning and reporting, regulatory compliance, and process management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test planning, execution, and documentation (protocols and reports)
• Regulatory and design process support
• Risk management process implementation
• Systems and requirements management using tools such as DOORS, JIRA, etc.

Travel:

• Primarily domestic travel as needed
• International travel is a possibility, though nothing is planned at this time

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or Science with 5+ year of experience in developing highly engineered products (at least 4 years in medical/diagnostics products), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possesses systems engineering experience spanning the entire product lifecycle, including proficient use of systems engineering tools (e.g. requirements management, change control, etc.).
• Systems engineering experience in a highly regulated industry
