Location - Gurugram - 5 days work from office

Shift - 5PM to 2AM

Job Summary :-

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the automation testing efforts for our software products, ensuring high quality and performance. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define testing requirements and establish robust automation framework

PRIMARY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications.
• Lead the automation testing strategy and framework design to improve software quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define testing strategies.
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create detailed test cases.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results, reporting defects and issues as they arise.
• Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices for automation testing.
• Continuously assess and improve the automation process, tools, and frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation testing.
• Bug/Defect Logging and Tracking (Preferably JIRA and Azure DevOps)
• Giving mandatory information of a defect to developers in order to fix it
• Preparing Summary Reports
• Preparing Lesson Learnt documents from the previous project testing experience
• Preparing Suggestion Documents to improve the quality of the application
• Communication with the Test Lead / Test Manager
• Verify results by running SQL Queries in SQL server
• Attend regular SCRUM calls with the implementation team

Skills

• 5+ Years of Experience in Software Automation Testing
• Knowledge of Mobile, Performance and API Testing
• Knowledge of testing methodology and test documentation procedures
• Knowledge of C#, .Net, Java
• Experience in testing web-based and client server applications
• Must have knowledge of SQL
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Research problems to find solutions by utilizing available resources including co-workers, documentation, tools and share knowledge
